Research first
We start with primary sources, including regulators, accreditors, public data sets and the companies themselves. We interview practitioners and recent customers when the data does not tell the whole story.
Scores in the open
Rankings use published weights. We explain what each factor measures and how it affects the final score. A high score is not a promise of a perfect product. It is a summary of the evidence we reviewed.
Human review
Every guide is written by a specialist and reviewed by an editor. We do not publish automatically generated articles under a byline.
Corrections in public
When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change. Corrections are dated and never quietly deleted. To report an error, use the contact page or email annie@ravereviews.org.
